Three ‘signs’ at the same time
Earthquake
The two major earthquakes; the 8.0 magnitude near Samoa Tuesday (29 September) followed by the 7.6 magnitude in western Indonesia are unusual as this magnitude is only seen globally five to ten times on average per year. Two within 18 hours in the same general region is rare.
Typhoon
At the same time the major windstorm, Ketsana, brought more rain than has been seen on record to the Phillipines and later also unusually high rainfall to Vietnam and Cambodia (26 September to 1 October).
Gathering of the nations
In relation to what has been said on this website and Revelation it seems significant that these happenings occurred at the the same time that the major nations USA, France, Germany, the UK, Russia and China and others were gathering for talks in Geneva on Iran’s nuclear programme (29 September and 1 Oct)
As Revelation specifically mentions ‘an earthquake’ (Rev 6:12, 8:5;11:19;16:18) the winds of the earth no longer being held back (Rev 7:1 and 9:14) and the “gathering” (Rev 16:14 and 19:19) of the kings of the earth as very specific signs of the end time, it seems notable that these happenings all occurred in the same time in 2009.
