When Christ was nailed to the cross, one of the two men that was crucified with him said (Luke 23:42 -43) “Lord remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom and Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, today thou shall be with me in paradise.” Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the way into life after death and they try to follow His teachings. Ultimately it is only God who knows what will happen to every living person on earth.
Will the universe pass away? I think that the earth and the universe will remain, but after death we shall see it all from a different perspective. Rev 21:1 “I saw a new heaven and a new earth”.
