The three frog-like spirits do not come from a single mouth. They are three single frogs, split up in different directions. The Merovingians had all three together, and only before the Christening of Clovis, whom GOD told to replace the frogs with three lillies, the flowers of the Temple. So itmust rather be asked what was the earlier origin of the three frogs Clovis abandoned for CHRIST, and from which people further East the Franks first came from, and be taken for the still non-Christianized branches East of Euphrates (Iranians?), or else seen to not quite match three frogs in a single emblem. But in all Merovingian rule in France, the three frog emblem was abandoned for ever!
