Dear Dr Janson, with reference to the posting about a nuclear attack on New York recently (Fall of the Great City of Babylon?), this is the third such discussion that I have come across in the recent past. Two were religious in nature but to my mind the third was the most interesting. It was by a long-time member of the financial industry in NY. After describing how some big players that he knows have been 'taking their cards off the table' (cashing in all their investments) he mentions that he has the feeling that it might be best to physically 'edge away from the city'. He commented that he was unable to do this because of all the ties he had after many years in the city.
I personally think that the Revelation reference to the 'Fall of the Great City' refers to the collapse of the international financial and monetary system - something that is rapidly becoming a reality.
