Thank you for highlighting what is, for me, your greatest contribution to our understanding of Revelation. Your elucidation of the manner in which Revelation uses concrete and lurid symbols (beasts with multiple wings, horns and heads) to represent huge, amorphous, slow-moving, difficult-to-define developments in mankind's thinking was the key to making sense of Revelation for me.
