Armageddon isn’t about asteroids or comets. It’s not about nuclear annihilation, although nuclear weapons may be involved. It’s not even about war between nations, although “many” nations may be involved.
Revelation is clear when it comes to the purpose of Armageddon. The human race will gather its armies at Armageddon in order to do battle against God Almighty.
“And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. (Revelation 19 : 19 KJV)
But why, and what kind of a war is this?
Is it ultimately about “man” fighting for his freedom (from God), and therefore ultimately a "spiritual" war?
