I think that you possibly missed "one" of the most "crucial" points.
One:
"See" the very last sentence of the Apolgetics post which begins with: "By His self sacrifice ..."
We should not be surprised if Christians are insulted and verbally abused even in these present times.
It happened to Our Lord Jesus Christ as well, just a 1 000 times worse.
His accusers spat on Him, scorged Him, beat Him, ridiculed Him, and then murdered Him, by crucifying Him.
WHY?.
And, not even his own disciples supported Him at the time. Later, Yes!
So we should not expect any support from anyone either.
BUT, He was "resurrected" then at that "time", and "today" He still lives.
The Bible book of "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" has more than adequately proven this,
as Dr.Janson has further explained in her own books and on this website.
It takes lots of daily comprehensive study time and effort, but mainly prayers to "see" (really understand).
