The article below is especially for those trying to advertise, promote and sell their medical and other products to the sick, through the How Near Armageddon website, which I believe, is a Christian website, presenting a unique and very special interpretation of the “Bible” book “Revelation”.
”Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
Then He said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.(MT 9:35-38)
Jesus came to earth with great power to heal people and set them free.
But in this human form, He was just one man. Even after going through many towns and ministering to many people, He still saw large crowds that needed shepherding.
Jesus needed to reproduce Himself many times over in order to truly shepherd so many people. So He taught His followers to pray for God to send more workers, more harvesters.We can get lulled into thinking that there isn't much of a harvest to be had, that there isn't much interest in God around us.
But Jesus says that the harvest is plentiful.
It's not hungry people that are lacking – it is Jesus-filled workers that are lacking!
When Jesus goes through towns and villages today, through His followers, people will follow.
