Total eclipse of the sun in the time of the “outer court”.
In the light of all that has been said on this website I believe that we should take note of the total eclipse of the sun that took place on 29 March 2006. Readers of my books and this website will know that I believe that the time measures of Revelation have at the present time already come to a close and that we are living in the time of the last time measure, the time of the final “outer court” (Rev 11:2). This is a time period that we cannot measure, and the final signs of the end that were prophesied in Scripture are being revealed according to a time measure only known to God.
We can recognise the signs through the words of Revelation and the words of Jesus Christ.
The reason that the total eclipse should be noted is that the signs of the end that take place in the time of the “outer court” relate to that which is said in Revelation.
It was shown on this website that the words of Rev 6:12 “and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair” refer specifically to the total eclipse of the sun in the “month”, November 2003. I say this for I am convinced that the understanding of the symbolism of the total book of Revelation was written to fit into a specific time frame. This time frame started at the time of the birth of Jesus Christ and is in the present time coming to a close.
The total eclipse of the sun on 29 March 2006 is the first to follow the one in November 2003. It depends on the revelation of ongoing happenings now and in the time to come that relate to the symbolism of Revelation that will declare how close we are to the final signs.
These happenings at the present time include Christians that are facing death because of their faith (the opening of the fifth seal); large windstorms and cyclones (the opening of the sixth seal); developing tensions concerning the area of the Euphrates River (the sounding of the sixth trumpet) and also concerning the State of Israel (Matt 24:15); the alignment of the nations of the earth with regard to these hostilities (Rev 20:8 “Gog and Magog to gather them together to battle); also the role of the world economy in relation to these tensions (the fall of the great city Babylon (Rev 18:10); finally the spread of bird flu from east to west (Rev 17:20 “the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God”); large earthquakes (opening of the seventh seal).

A category 5 cyclone developed north of Australia on 24 April. It is believed to be one of the largest storms to have ever developed in the region. It hit land and caused damage, but was soon downgraded overnight from a category 5 to a category 4. By the following morning it was only a category 2.
Tensions in the international community concerning the uranium enrichment programme in Iran. Particularly in the light of the Iranian leadership exhorting the destruction of Israel.
The rise of the price of oil
Culling of thousands of fowls in the Far East and Europe.
Large earthquake (7:8) near Tonga in the Pacific Ocean.
As further signs are revealed to us in the future time it will be shown how they relate to the words of Revelation.
The ruling of the nations
Many people think that the signs of the end are only to be seen in disasters such as earthquake and floods. Revelation is very clear that the happenings of the end are not only to be seen in the physical earth or in the heavens, but also in the political rule of the nations. It is for this reason that Rev 10:11 says: “Thou must prophecy again before many peoples, and nations and tongues and kings.”
The reason for this is to show how closely the Trinity has been in control of the ruling of the nations in the past some two thousand years.
Therefore because I believe that Revelation fits into a specific time frame, as mentioned above, the total eclipse of the sun on 29 March 2006 must be taken into account. The eclipse is therefore also the symbolic revelation that the time has come to show the final signs of the end.
In the analysis of Revelation it has been revealed that the ruling of the nations across the seas and globally, is removed from the faith and has become corrupt. It is revealed through the symbol of the great whore who sits upon the beast. The ruling of the nations has become “a golden cup in her hand full of abominations” (Rev 17:4). Therefore the signs of the end are not only about global warming but about signs coming from the throne of God, the global ruling of the nations and the falling away from the Christian faith.
It seems that the world just will not wake up to the facts that the present time are presenting. According to the recent United Nations report on the malnutrition of infants world wide a large percentage of infants are not properly fed. Every second someone dies of Aids. These atrocities would not be happening today if the Christian moral code of living had only in some proportions been adopted by the inhabitants of the developing world. The rejection of the Christian moral code across the seas is also to be blamed on those who called themselves Christians, but in their actions and behaviour set a poor example to those to whom the faith was being brought. It seems the leadership of the nations is no longer able to turn the tide of corruption and alleviate the suffering. For this reason we are witnessing the signs of end.
