Good Morning Dr Janson,
Matthew 24, Luke 21 & Revelation 1:7
These are amazing verses that you have just recently quoted & posted to the website.
I’d very much like to ask a question or two about them:
Mathew 24: 23 - 27
… in so much that if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Who are these “the very elect”?
Mathew 24:23-27
“...For as lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall the coming of the Son of Man be.”
Luke 21:27
“And then shall they see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.”
It seems that these two verses describe what could be a very frightening scene / episode, which every human being on earth will see, at the same time!
Are these two verses literal or figurative? Or both!
Revelation 1:7
Behold He comes with clouds and every eye will see Him.”
Is this verse literal or figurative? Or both! The words “clouds” and “every eye” and “see Him”.
