They are moving against the risen Christ Himself
We know from Revelation 11:1 where John was instructed to measure the “temple” that the “temple” in Revelation is the massive symbol of the whole Church of Jesus Christ that developed on earth after the coming and ascension of Christ. The Church is called the ‘temple’ for Christ said that the word “temple” in John 2:19-21 is actually the “temple of his body”. When Communion is taken by any congregation of Christians anywhere in the world this unity of the Church with the body of Christ was for the past some two thousand years continuously confirmed. – Because we believe that Jesus died for our sins and our sins are forgiven because we take the bread and the wine that symbolically signify our unity with the body and blood of the slain Christ our sins are forgiven.
The image given in Revelation 5:6 of the slain Lamb that takes the book out of the right hand of Him that sat on the throne is the symbolic representation of the book Revelation that would in the end time (in the time that mankind would once again show disregard for the offering of the Christ on the cross and the instruction to the world to seek the kingdom of heaven) reveal that the time has come that the rule of those that worship the beast must come to an end. Revelation reveals how God will in the coming time make mankind realise that the power of the beast will be destroyed and humankind will once again realise the great offering and gift of the Christ.

6 Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits[a] of God sent out into all the earth. 7 He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne. 8 And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people. 9 And they sang a new song, saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll

and with your blood you purchased for God

Modern man who without faith in 2015 cannot fathom the greatness of God, no longer comprehends that where God is there cannot be sin! God gave his Commandments and man without forgiveness of sin cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. This is why we have so many great churches built in past centuries. Places where people could learn about God and find forgiveness and worthy to enter the kingdom of God.
So you can choose to live forever or as modern man prefers to live as he wishes even if it means to perish in death. With our intellect developed through many thousands of years how is it that modern man cannot fathom that God would want to not only give man the ability to overcome the horrible experience of death, but existence after death. He commands obedience but also through His grace provided a way for forgiveness for our sinful nature.
The Bible tells us that God has the ability to do this. If this is the power of God at some point Almighty God is going to turn the tide of man’s spiritual ignorance that has developed particularly in the last century.
Modern man in his quest to understand the universe has just forgotten that God is. Revelation reveals and confirms history and everything that was written in Scripture.
How Long?
Rev 6:11 assures us that the time of the death of Christians in the end time is a “short season”. This together with the message in the vision of 22 August 1996 I believe we are within that season. Therefore according to my understanding it must be very soon.
I think that it is quite amazing that God gave insight into the book Revelation in 1996. We have had almost twenty years to comprehend aspects of this amazing book.
We are told Revelation 6:11 that Christians that die for their faith receive “white robes” so believe that they have entered the kingdom of heaven and have overcome death.

The greatness of the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ
It is so very important - even if one does not have the knowledge of history and how this history in revealed within the symbolism of Revelation - try to comprehend and understand the greatness of the book of Revelation.
The book of Revelation is the “Revelation of Jesus Christ.” This is a confirmation that the risen Christ is in heaven – at the end of the first century and also to-day.
This confirms everything that Jesus Christ spoke on earth.
It was given to the risen Christ by God which is confirmation that they were at the end of the first century at the time of Patmos and at the present time one and in communication. But even more as told in Scripture always have been.
The book Revelation comprises of visions seen by John which he wrote down. He wrote them down as he saw them. He must have known it was very important. One can understand why he wept.

The Scroll and the Lamb
5 Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” 3 But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. 4 I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. 5 Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
From these verses we know that it could only be through the power of the Holy Spirit and through Jesus Christ that the book Revelation would be understood.
Here lies the greatness of the book Revelation.
Those visions that John saw were actually foretelling what was going to happen in the following some one thousand, nine hundred and eighteen years - from ca AD 97 to 2015 - and beyond. In other words in the book Revelation God wishes to give us some insight into how he has always known what is going to happen on earth and not only this, but how each individual would live and whether he would ultimately enter the kingdom of heaven.

8 The beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and yet will come up out of the Abyss and go to its destruction. The inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because it once was, now is not, and yet will come.
For those who have not studied this website, this verse says (in broad terms) that in the course of the past two thousand years the leaders of the nations, and the nations would be deceived and misled by the influence of Satan. (“The beast which you saw, once was, now is not, and yet will come up”) This means that our forefathers knew they were taking the wrong decisions, but they felt that the time had come that they had no other choice. The nations followed their course because they believed that they were doing the best thing for future generations. In this course of actions some would adhere to their faith, but others would be misled by the forces of evil. So subtle is the deception of the forces of evil that those who could not find their way out of sin would and will be surprised to see how they were misled and with what deception Satan had ruined their lives.

10 Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, because the time is near. 11 Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.”
Epilogue: Invitation and Warning
12 “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
