Increase in the magnitude of the largest earthquakes 2003 to April 2015
After the large and tragic earthquakes in Nepal it should be noted that there has been an increase in the magnitude of the largest earthquakes recorded between 2003 and April 2015 compared to 1990 to 2002.
Between 1990 and 2002 the largest earthquakes measured on the Richter scale in each year (13, one for each year) had the following magnitude:
6 great earthquakes between 7 and 7.9
7 great earthquakes between 8 and 8.9
Between 2003 and April 2015 (13, one for each year):
2 great earthquakes between 7 and 7.9
9 great earthquakes between 8 and 8.9
2 great earthquakes 9 and 9.1
This increase since 2003 (which I believe is the “short season”) has to be noted because Revelation mentions “earthquake” and “great earthquake” in the end time.
I think that the time has come that a serious look needs to be taken at the positions in the book Revelation were the words “earthquake” and “great earthquake’ appear.
Revelation mentions "earthquake" in the time of "altar"
Rev 11:1 I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers.”
In Rev 11:1 it is said that the “altar” must be measured.
We must therefore take into account all the positions in Revelation where the word “altar” is used.
Earthquake 26 December 2004
At this point in time it seems that the “measure” of the “altar” relates to about twelve years after 2003/2004. It is possible that the earthquake in Indonesia on 26 December 2004 was the beginning of the time of “altar”.
I say this because it was made known to me that we are near the end time, we are seeing the signs of the end time: Christians being killed for their faith; greater earthquakes; there category 5 windstorms, severe typhoon and cyclones and generally more extreme weather as a result of
global warming.
Revelation seems to confirm that the time of “altar” relates to the time of the “short or “little season”.
Note that In Rev 6:9-11the word “altar” is used in the time of the “little season”

Note: Revelation seems to combine the time of “altar” with “earthquake” in
Rev 8:1-5. It is the time that the angel with the golden censor comes to stand at the altar. It is the time that the inhabitants of the heavens are praying.

2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. 4 The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand.
5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.
According to my understanding of the time measures of Revelation “an hour” is 24 years, therefore the “half an hour” relates to the time of 12 years in the “short season”.
Repetition of the word “altar” reveals greater meaning.
Because the repetition of words in Revelation seem to link meaning it seems that “half an hour”, “altar” and “short season” relate to 2004 to 2016. I am not saying in any way that the Return is going to be in 2016, that I do not know. We shall have to see what signs of the end time occur in the following years.
Note “fire from the altar” (these words indicate the wrath of God in the end time). The time of “altar” is linked to “earthquake”
It seems that the third time that Revelation uses the word “altar” it also relates to the “short season”.

It seems that the repetition of the word “altar” in Revelation indicates the time of the “short season”. The word “voice” in Revelation indicates a time measure. (Read the explanation of Revelation, chapter 10, on this website.)

17 The horses and riders I saw in my vision looked like this: Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulfur. The heads of the horses resembled the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, smoke and sulfur. 18 A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths. 19 The power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails were like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury.

It should be remembered that 2003 was the time of the war in Iraq - therefore the “great river Euphrates”. It seems that the words “this very hour and day and month and year” relates to the time 2003/2004, but because “hour”, “day“, “month” and “year” are time measures also different to what we understand by them to be it seems to include a whole preceding ‘running up’ period before 2004. The total understanding of Revelation seems to indicate the end of the measure of “temple”.
(“Third of mankind” and “the number of the mounted troops was twice ten thousand times ten thousand” are figurative.) “Third” relates to a third portion of the nations of the earth and “the number of mounted troops was twice ten thousand times ten thousand” the time of two thousand years in which battles were fought for what is represented by the four riders of the Apocalypse.
Verse 17 can be understood if one realises that the riders of the horses of the Apocalypse represent God putting in place the unity of the Christian king and state in the course of the third century AD. The rider on the red horse represents the thousands of battles fought by the Christian nations in the time 216 to 1896. The rider on the black horse represents the coming of the rule of nations by ballot (the scales held by the rider on the black horse) – 1896 and after. The rider on the pale horse represents a ruling of the nations that would lead to spiritual death and hell because the Christian faith would be kept ‘captive’ (Rev 13:10) in a secular rule of the nations. The symbolism of verse 17 indicates the power of the influence of evil in the progression of the nations over two centuries from the unity of Church and state to secular rule through-out the world. The symbolism of the horses also represents the culmination of the power of the anti-Christian forces in the short season. But they remain despite everything still at this point in time under the guidance of the Trinity. Therefore the transformation and changed ruling power of the nations brought about also an evil and strong power of the “mouths” and the “tails”. The riders symbolically ride through all the wars of the past two millennia till the time of Armageddon (“fire, smoke and sulphur”).
Verse 18 reveals a third of the earth will in the short season still worship images and be sexually immoral.
The word “altar” is also used In Rev 14:18-20

18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
This section indicates that the time has come for the final wrath of God. The time measure “a thousand and six hundred furlongs” seems to indicate that we can only measure “half an hour” (12 years) of the short season – the full time is only known to God.
Great earthquake
Note the words “great earthquake” occur in Matthew 28:2, the time of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The words “great earthquake” occur in Rev 11:13 and Rev 16:18. These seem to indicate two very large earthquakes (but it could be the same earthquake) in the time just after the Resurrection of the dead (Rev 11:12-13 indicating the time of the Resurrection.)

This great earthquake (or two) is followed by plague and hail (Rev16:21).

During the time of hail there will follow another “earthquake” (Rev 11:19).

Till the plagues are fulfilled
At this point those who will be resurrected will be able to enter the “temple” of heaven. This is confirmed in Rev 15:8 where it is said that no one will enter into the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
