More intense typhoons and hurricanes
The understanding of the book Revelation in 2015 incorporates happenings all over the globe.
Taking into account everything that has been said on this website….
I believe one cannot ignore the rapid rise of Hurricane Patricia in the waters off the tropical Pacific coast of the Americas in relation to the end time predictions of the book Revelation.
Breaks all intensity records
Hurricane Patricia went from tropical storm, the lowest category in the Saffir-Simpson scale by which hurricanes are rated, to Category 5, the top of the scale, in about a day. Then it kept going, exceeding the Category 5 threshold by 45 mph and breaking the intensity record for any Eastern Pacific or Atlantic Hurricane.
We are therefore seeing greater storms than ever before. Some scientists are suggesting that the scale should be extended for rare storms like this -- that we should add a category 6 or even 7.
Super Typhoon Haiyan
Super Typhoon Haiyan of 2013, one of the strongest ocean storms ever recorded devastated large portions of the Philippines and killed at least 6,300 people. In 2013 it set records for the strongest storm at landfall and for the highest sustained wind speed over one minute, hitting 315 kilometers (194 miles) per hour when it reached the province of Eastern Samar.
Upper-ocean temperatures
Scientific observation and analyses revealed that the upper-ocean temperatures over the low-latitude western North Pacific, influence typhoon intensification rates, and that sea surface temperatures over the central equatorial Pacific influence typhoon intensification duration. The lower upper-ocean temperatures are caused by the El Nino effect.
We have evidence here that in 2013 slower trade winds and warming of the surface of the Pacific Ocean caused by El Nino give rise to a more intensive typhoon.
Because I believe it was made known to me that we are near the end time this is of great significance in relation to the words of Revelation: because Revelation reveals this phenomena of the slowing of the winds of the earth before greater windstorms that will harm the earth, the sea and trees.
Revelation 7:1 (“holding back the four winds of the earth”)
7 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree.
Revelation indicates that in the end time after the slowing of the winds there will come a time of destruction.
Rev 7:2-3
“Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: 3 “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.”
In this time of the ‘holding back’ of the winds of the earth God will put the seal on the “144 000”. (Rev 7:4 and 14:1)
Most intense ever
Hurricane Patricia, which stormed across Mexico October 20-24, 2015 was the most intense hurricane ever formed in the western hemisphere, exceeding 200 miles per hour in sustained winds.
Hurricane Patricia brought less destruction to the Mexican coast than was expected from such a massive storm. The largest previous storm for the strongest eastern Pacific hurricane was Hurricane Linda in 1997, with sustained winds of 185 miles per hour, and before that Hurricane John in 1994.
All three, the above hurricanes, occurred during El Niño years - a further possible linkage between the slowing of the wind and the churning up of great storms. What science contemplates at the present time seems to have been predicted in Revelation.
