More great storms

Following what I said in my previous post:

Typhoon Megi, known in the Philippines as Typhoon Helen, was a large and powerful category 3 tropical cyclone which affected Taiwan and China in late September 2016 - it formed September 21, 2016 and dissipated September 29, 2016

On 5 October 2016, Super Typhoon, Chaba. believed to be one of the biggest typhoons ever recorded, charged through South Korea with 233mph winds leaving chaos and destruction in its wake.

Hurricane Matthew was a very powerful and deadly tropical cyclone which became the first Category 5 Atlantic hurricane since Hurricane Felix in 2007. Matthew became a hurricane on 29 September and only turned away from the Carolina coast on 9 October. It brought destruction and loss of life in parts of Haiti, Cuba and the southeastern United States.

Typhoon Sarika slammed into the north eastern Philippines on Sunday 16 October 2016, knocking out power and isolating villages in the floods and fallen trees.

No doubt 2016 a time of great storms and the oceans churned up with great waves.
