God will not tolerate harm to the very young
In Revelation chapter 18, the chapter on the Fall of Babylon, it is revealed that God will ultimately in his wrath punish harm done to the very young.
Rev 18:21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus, with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
Revelation expands its meaning through the repetition of its words in Scripture.
Millstone
Luke 17:2 “It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.”
Through the word “millstone” in Revelation 18:21 and in Luke 17;2 we can know that if we are at the present time witnessing the Fall of Babylon as predicted in Revelation, God is indicating his wrath on those who have harmed little ones.
For the stone shall cry out
Revelation reveals that when the final signs of the end come upon us, it will be also the symbolism of the “stone” in Scripture that ‘cries out’ to the nations.
Habakkuk 2:11: “For the stone shall cry out of the wall”.
Luke 19:40 “If these (the disciples of Jesus) should hold their peace the stones would immediately cry out”.
