It is good to belong to a Christian Church and have the fellowship of other Christians. We are in the privileged position today to personally be able to study God’s Word and to know what God wishes us to do and how to live. The Christian Church is the one place where it is believed that the way to the Father is through Jesus Christ.

The problem today is that the doctrine of the Christian Church has become far removed from very important institutions and vocations in modern society. Institutions such as the world-wide media and leaders in society and churches who knowingly or unwittingly through a falling away from the faith undermine the truths of the testimony of Jesus Christ. These institutions have the financial means to propagate their views and are leading many astray.

In modern society it is acceptable to equalize faiths before the law so that all faiths can worship freely. Equalization becomes a danger to Christians when an equalization of faiths is propagated. These views are entering the Christian Church at the present time and the faithful must be on their guard against false teaching. One cannot accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour in the Christian Church and then go out into society and propagate an equalization of faiths, an ideology that denies the forgiveness of sin through the blood of Christ and the exclusiveness and power of the Holy Spirit in the Christian faith.

Revelation reveals to us the reasons for these trends. It has been explained on this website that the present situation of the separation of the Christian Church from politics, the rule of law and the untouchables that determine the trends of the global economy, has come to us from way back in history.

Within the Church there are good people, but there are those who have been misled. All these things are the signs of the difficulties that Christians face in the last days. Revelation says that it will not be easy for the faithful in the time that the nations worship the beast (Rev 13:10 “Here is the patience and the faith of the saints” - Also Rev 14:12-13 “Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth”.)

Therefore use your own discretion. If you find that you cannot agree with what is happening in a church, for it is contrary to God’s Word, speak out. If necessary look for another congregation in which you feel comfortable. After all it is ultimately about your relationship with God and taking Holy Communion for the forgiveness of your sins. The message that is preached from the pulpit must be according to God’s Word. It is not so much about what others of the congregation do. They will have to answer to God themselves.
