The prophecy of Daniel says that the power of the
holy people will be ‘scattered’ (King James Version),
‘finally broken’ (NIV).
King James Version
Dan 12:7 “And I heard the man clothed in linen, which
was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his
right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware
by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a
time, times, and an half; and when he shall have
accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people,
all these things shall be finished.”
Revelation
The words “he held up his right hand and his left
hand up to heaven”, and “sware by him that liveth for
ever” and “all these things shall be finished” are
similar to words that are used in Rev.10:5-6.
Rev 10:5 “’And the angel which I saw stand upon the
sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who
created heaven, and the things that therein are, and
the earth, and the things that therein are, and the
sea, and the things which are therein, that there
should be time no longer:”
Through these similarities I believe the words of
Daniel are relative to Revelation.
The same time
I believe that this repetition in both the prophecy
of Daniel and Revelation indicates a confirmation of
what takes place in the end time. The repetition also
indicates the same time. Through the measures of time
established in Revelation, I believe, we can know it
is the beginning of the third millennium AD, after
2020. It is the time that things shall be finished
(Daniel 12:7); “time no longer” (Rev 10:6).
It is the time “in the days” (Rev 10:7). That is the
“a thousand, two hundred and threescore days” (Rev
11:3 and 12:6).
Rev 10:7 “But in the days of the voice of the seventh
angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of
God should be finished, as he has declared to his
servants and prophets”.
“time times and a half time”
The words “time, times and a half” used in Daniel
12:7 also appear in Rev 12:14. We can now understand
why and when the power of the holy people would be
broken. It is prophecy fulfilled.

great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness,
into her place, where she is nourished for a time,
and times, and half a time, from the face of the
serpent.”
Power of the holy people scattered
As I have shown on this Forum, the measure of “time,
times and half” in Rev 12:14 indicate the “three days
and a half” of the second millennium after the coming
of the Christ (refer to ‘The Woman and the Dragon’ on
this Forum). Secular rule would be established in the
second millennium AD. This rule that would help “the
woman” (end of religious wars) and the Faith would
spread to the ends of the earth (“the woman were
given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly
into the wilderness”).

(Note the use of the image of the “great eagle”: The
spread was the Faith subject to secular rule. This
relates to Rev 4:7 “the fourth beast was like a
flying eagle”. Revelation reveals that the four
beasts of Rev 4:7 were implemented by God in the
ruling of the nations. Under secular rule God was
always in control.)
Secular rule would equalise all beliefs before the
law. Therefore the words of the prophecy of Daniel,
substantiate the words and meaning of Revelation that
in the time of the rise of the “beast coming up out
of the sea” and the time of the ‘’beast coming up out
of the earth” the power of the holy people was
“scattered”.
Note the accuracy of Revelation in Rev 10:6 where the
words “earth” and “sea” are mentioned.
Rev 10:6 “And sware by him that liveth for ever and
ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein
are, and the earth, and the things that therein are,
and the sea, and the things which are therein, that
there should be time no longer:”
Dan 12:7 All things shall be finished
It was prophesied in Daniel that after “the time
times and a half time” and the scattering or breaking
of the power of the holy people all things will be
finished. This is substantiated by Revelation in that
the power of “the beast coming up out of the sea” is
curbed in the “forty and two months” (Rev 11:2 and
13:5). As I have indicated on this Forum, the “forty
and two months”, I believe to be, the time from the
Venus -Jupiter conjunction on 27 August 2016 to 27
February 2020.
As I have shown on this Forum, I believe that the
time of the “forty and two months” (Rev 11:2 and
13:5) has passed. We may already be in the time of
the “one thousand, two hundred and threescore days”
(Rev 11:3 and 12:6). This will be revealed in the
time to come.
Clothed in sackcloth
The ‘finally broken’ prophesied in Daniel is
substantiated by the words “clothed in sackcloth” in
Revelation 11:3 “And I will give power unto my two
witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two
hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.”
This verse indicates that the “two witnesses” will in
the last days be regarded powerless (“clothed in
sackcloth”), but they always retained power through
God, the Father (Rev11:6).
In the days
Revelation substantiates that the power of the holy
people will be undermined in the second millennium
AD, but restored in the time of the “days” Rev 10:7
“But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel,
when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God
should be finished, as he hath declared to his
servants and prophets.”
Rev 11:15 “And the seventh angel sounded, and there
were great voices in heaven saying, the kingdoms of
this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of
his Christ and he shall reign for ever and ever.”
The words of Jesus, the Christ
Rev 19:10 “For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit
of prophecy”
Mat 12:40 “For as Jonas was three days and three
nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man
be three days and three nights in the heart of the
earth.”
