Those who have studied my books and taken note of what has been said on this website will know that I believe that I was directed to understand Revelation through history. When the history of the nations had reached a certain point Revelation would be understood and we are now able to observe the signs before the Second Coming.
I wish to draw your attention to Revelation 6:8 “And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and the name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth.” Note the words “fourth part of earth”
You will remember that in the analysis of Rev 13:11-18 (see Q&A IX) Revelation could be correlated with history. Beside the “three hundred, threescore and six “ years that is the time 1266 to 1932, there seemed to be a “fourth” measurement of threescore years from 1952 to 1992. This fourth time measurement was indicated by the words Rev 13:15 “give life unto the image” (1952-3) the time of the cloning of frogs; Rev 13:15 “and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed” (1972) and Rev 13:13 “he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men”, the time that CNN would give live coverage of Desert Storm (1992).
This understanding of a time measurement of “threescore years”, 1952 to 1992 in addition to the three parts of the number “six hundred, threescore and six” in Rev 13:11-18 is what, I now believe, is referred to in Rev 6:8 as the “fourth part of earth”. It is the “fourth part” of the total time of the measurement of the evolvement of the “beast out of the earth”. 1266 to 1866 (six hundred years), 1866 to 1926 (threescore years) 1926 to 1932 (six years) 1932 to 1992 ( a second measurement of threescore years). [Remember that the Divine intervention revealed to me that the opening of the fourth seal was linked to the time after 1947. See how Revelation confirms and verifies its time through the repetition of words. “The “fourth part of earth” is mentioned in Rev 6:8, but it can only be understood through measuring time in history. This is a reason why no one was allowed to add or take words away from the words of Revelation.]
Therefore with this knowledge I believe we can now determine the precise time of the opening of the fifth seal. I found in my understanding of Revelation that when one had correctly interpreted a verse it would lead to the understanding and verification of the following verses. Rev 6:9 “And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God and for the testimony that they held: And they cried out with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?”
Note the words “How long, O Lord”. If one goes to Scripture these words appear in Zechariah 1:12 “Then the angel of the Lord answered and said, O lord of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and of the cities of Judah, against which thou has had indignation these threescore an ten years.” Note the time measurement of “threescore and ten years” in this reference.
As indicated above, history, and the understanding of Revelation indicates the time of “threescore” years 1952 to 1992. Therefore 1952 to 2002 is “threescore and ten years”. Readers of my books and this website will know that my interpretation of Revelation is based on the knowledge of time measurement, history and meaning found by linking the words of Revelation to certain verses in Scripture. These words of Zechariah 1:12 is a good example. This is how the understanding of Revelation gives a “new” meaning and why Rev 21:5 says “I make everything new”. To-day, after all the conflict in Israel since 1952 we can say how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah. See also Ps 89:46 “How long Lord? Only the understanding of the time measurements of the number “six hundred, threescore and six”, only after the Divine intervention, and only after history has played out up to the time 2003 (the time that the drying up of the Euphrates may have been curbed) is there the insight that the time of the opening of the fifth seal is the year 2002.
