HOW NEAR
ARMAGEDDON - By Elana Janson

(Why she believes that through the divine intervention in the the time that she was working on the correlation of the book Revelation with the history of the past two thousand years, she could understand Revelation, and through the knowledge of the time measurement in Revelation is part of God's great plan.)

"Of the greatest significance to all mankind at the beginning of the third millennium after Christ is the fact that the interpretation of Revelation as set out in " How Near Armageddon" seems to make clear the words of Jesus Christ in Matthew 12:42:

It is said in Matthew 12:42 that "the Queen of the South will rise at the judgement with this generation and condemn it: for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon's wisdom…." It seems that Almighty God through Jesus Christ wished man to understand these words in the time that the meaning of the book Revelation would be made known to the world - in the time before Judgement.

In the interpretation of Revelation in "How Near Armageddon", which is a correlation of the words of Revelation with the history of the world, Revelation measures 14 "generations" of 72 years from the birth of Christ (4BC) to the time 1004 ( approximately 1000 years) and 14 "generations" of 72 years from the year 996 to the year 2004. Four generations (72X4=288) constitute "one day" - therefore "three and a half days" in each millennium (288+288+288+144=1008).

The "generations" correspond to the measurement of the "foundations" of the New Jerusalem.
The biblical basis for this is found in Isaiah 58:12 ( King James Version) "Thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations". In other words those that will be raised at the time of Judgement will be those who adhered to the teachings of Jesus Christ in the time from the coming of the Messiah in the year 4 BC to the time of Judgement which according to the interpretation of Revelation seems to be in the near future.

The total interpretation of Revelation, seems to indicate a time measurement of about two thousand years. This time is symbolically indicated in the length and the breadth of the New Jerusalem, the life hereafter. (The 'height' is measured in "foundations" indicating that the "generations" will be raised from the dead). Therefore the length is about one thousand years (Revelation measures three and a half days in each millennium, which is 1008 years - and each millenium is regarded as a unit of time) and the breadth is also about one thousand years.

This can be illustrated as follows:

When the rectangle is completed, the first generation after the birth of Jesus Christ forms a 'border' with the last generation of the second millennium. The first generation( 4BC to AD68) is linked to "with" the last ( 1932-2004). It symbolically indicates part of the "wall" of the New Jerusalem.

I therefore believe that the great message of Revelation (that is borne out in the interpretation of Revelation as set out in "Hoe Near Armageddon") substantiates the words of Jesus Christ in Matthew 12:42. In the time ( almost every word in Revelation contributes to Revelation's unique time measurement) that the message of the cross has spread all over the world ("the ends of the earth"), a woman from Southern Africa ( "south" - the place on earth from whence the original "queen of south" journeyed to visited King Solomon) will interpret Revelation ("wisdom" is used in Revelation 13:18, and its meaning is vital to the total interpretation of Revelation). One who after two thousand years still believed that the only way to the Father is through Jesus Christ (one who will receive a "crown of life" ( Rev 2:10)) therefore "'queen' of the south".

It is said that she will "rise at the judgement with this generation" and "condemn" it, because in the interpretation of Revelation as set out in "How Near Armageddon" it will be seen that the words of Revelation indicate that those living in the time 1932 to 2004 have become so influenced by the "beast of the sea" and "the beast of the earth" that it is only through the grace of Almighty God that they will be raised at the time of Judgement. It also verifies the predestination of of the spread of the Christian church to all mankind. These words seem to manifest that we are near to Judgement and Armageddon - but only the happenings of the following years will reveal to what degree this prophecy is fulfilled.
The 14 "generations" that are measured in each millennium since the birth of Jesus Christ according to the interpretation of Revelation in "How Near Armageddon" is of the greatest significnce in the light of the words of Matthew 1:17. In that verse it is said that "there were 14 generations in all from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to Christ".
Considering that Revelation in the correlation with the history of the past two thousand years measures 28 "generations", it is possible that time is measured from Abraham to the Second Coming in 70 generations - "seven" and "seventy"being numbers of totality in the Bible.
