Like you, I believe in the authenticity of Dr Janson's insight. I do so because I have been persuaded by reading books like those of Dr Jack Deere that such insights are not uncommon today. (I refer to Jack Deere's books "Surprised by the Power of the Spirit" and "Surprised by the Voice of God". Dr Deere was a dyed-in-the-wool Reformed Evangelical Cessationist until the Lord changed his mind.)
I also believe that the strength of the evidence presented in 'How Near Armageddon' is such that it speaks for itself. Her interpretations of the Beast from the Sea and the Beast from the Earth had, for me, such a solid ring of truth that it was as if I was recognising something that I had known before.
