Dear Dr Janson,
You may remember me as one of those fortunate enough
who purchased your book “ How near Armageddon” at the
C N A towards the end of November 1999 after seeing
a write up about it, in the YOU magazine.
Since then I obtained a copy of your book in Afrikaans
“Ek is die begin en die Einde”, in which the twelve time
measurements in Revelation are explained. With the aid
of a dictionary I was able to obtain a reasonable understanding
of the detail you were attempting to impart to the reader.
I’ve also read all your Q’s and A’s and everything
that has been posted in the forum of your website on
the Internet.
I’d like you to know that I have fully supported your
Interpretation of the book of Revelation from the very
beginning, and still do to this very day, with a somewhat
broader and “new” understanding.
The journey has not been easy (understanding) and many hours,
probably more than a thousand, ( possibly two or three) have
been spent reading and studying not only your two books and
website but also many other books all related to the history of
Christianity and the Christian faith itself.
During this period I was received into the Christian Church, after
many years of not participating in any way.
It has been a most satisfying, interesting and intriguing journey,
for which you are mainly responsible, on a human level.
I’d like to openly, thank you for this.
I’d also like to ask a question :
Daniel 12: 8 – 13
I heard, but did not understand.
So I asked,” My Lord,
what will the outcome of all this be ?
He replied, “Go your way Daniel, because the words are closed up
and sealed until the time of the end.
Many will be purified, made spotless and refined but the wicked will
continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those
who are wise will understand.
From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1290 days. Blessed is the one who waits for
and reaches the end of the 1335 days
As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest and then at the end of the
days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.
The question is this:
The 1290 and 1335 days – are these days counted as we humans understand
the length of a day to be
and do they in any way link to or form part of the 1260 days mentioned
in the book of Revelation
“Blessed is the one who waits for -----“ implies the waiting for something,
that will be a blessing - in this case the 1335th day.
Or
Like Daniel, are we to go our way till the end. This would seem to be the
answer, as in stature, no one “on earth” comes close to Daniel.
