You have remarked recently that the sequence of events leading to Armageddon and the Return of Jesus may be speeding up.
In Revelation 13:17 we have the words
"It forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark..."
We seem to be approaching the enactment of these words.
The USA, in its use of the present Bretton Woods II world financial architecture to punish Russia, has provided strong motivation for Russia and China to move rapidly towards some sort of common gold-backed digital currency.
Commentators have for some time been saying that such a currency will likely be more stable and trustworthy than the present paper-money-backed-by-nothing system. A no-brainer, as the cyberati would put it. And Russia and China plus other Eurasian countries would probably offer the Developing World, including South Africa, favorable terms of trade to use it.
Unfortunately it will also be a big step towards a world in which we will be unable to buy or sell without the passwords and PIN numbers that will be trackable by the government, and can be cancelled by the government if they think we are 'behaving badly'.
