Yes Dr Janson, there is much to watch for as the final events of this Age start to appear. And we
should anticipate that there will be very bad times followed by very good times.
You note that "from about 1996 the churches have been experiencing the full onslaught of the forces
of evil; the hour of temptation that comes upon the world.
Quite so, and we can see how the older mainstream churches in the traditionally Christian nations of
the first world are crumbling under this onslaught, and retreating into politically correct and safe
stances, and we can anticipate that there is more of the same to come as Satan senses that his hour
of doom approaches. His great skills at sowing confusion and deception into the world are going into
overdrive and we are feeling the effects.
But enough of the bad news. We need to focus on the supernatural wonder of the Good News of the
Kingdom, that we have been reading about in the Bible for 2000 years, and that Jesus is about to
bring to its full expression.
The bad times that are coming in the Tribulation are going to be terrible. It will be a mistake to
underestimate how terrible, lest we become demoralized and abandon our faith as Satan does his worst.
So as a counter to this, and to strengthen our faith, we need to have some idea of how " beyond
wonderful and glorious" is the Kingdom that awaits us.
And there are a few people in this world who can tell us about the Kingdom from first hand
experience. Some of them have had only a couple of seconds in the Kingdom, but those seconds have
changed their understanding of just how well and truly God is ultimately in charge, and that "all is
well, and all is well, and all manner of things will be well".
And there are a very few who have had a longer experience of the Kingdom. In part 2 of this post I
give you one of their accounts.
