It seems that you think, as I do, that Dr Janson's books are towering landmarks in the millenia-old struggle by Christians to understand the symbolism in the book of revelation.
I have to say that, for me, two of the crucial insights that she has contributed are her elucidations of 'The Beast from the Sea' and the 'Beast from the Earth'. When I understood her description of how modern man has come to unquestioningly accept democracy on the one hand, and science and technology on the other, as wholly good inventions, it was as if scales fell from my eyes.
Would you care to comment on what aspects of her analysis particularly struck you?
